Nottingham-based coffee company 200 Degrees opened a new shop in West Bridgford on 22 July.

The unveiling saw the company experience one of its busiest opening weekends ever despite wet weather conditions.

“We thought West Bridgford was going to be a popular site, but we were blown away by the response on our opening day,” says 200 Degrees Managing Director Stephen Fern. “The West Bridgford shop really has had a flying start and that has continued since opening day – West Bridgford has embraced 200 Degrees with open arms.”

The first 200 customers received a free coffee, while the first 50 people to arrive also went home with tote bags designed by Jess Williams, a local artist and 200 Degrees barista.

Two lucky winners also won a Sage coffee machine and an Opal pod machine.

The new location features a roof terrace with festoon lighting.
