4C Services has announced its upcoming 4C Code of Conduct and Certification System Training schedule for the remainder of 2019. The first event will take place at Hotel Galería Plaza Reforma in Mexico City from 4 to 5 September. Other basic training events will be held from:
• 16 to 17 October in Campinas, Brazil
• 6 to 7 November in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and
• 12 to 13 November in Jakarta, Indonesia. 4C Services says the training aims to provide an overview about the 4C Code of Conduct as well as introduce the new audit report and new audit procedures. The first day of training includes an introduction to 4C Services, followed by an overview of the system and approach to certification. Classes include Setting Up 4C Units and Business Partners Roles, Internal Management Systems, 4C Risk Assessment & Innovative Tools, and 4C Sampling Methodology and Audit Plan. The second days focuses on certification procedures and a risk-based approach to assessment. This will include a recap of day one, deep dives on auditing and reporting, and plans for improvement. All classes are over seen by 4C Services Managing Director Gustavo Bacchi, Program Manager Myriel Camp, or both. Auditors that did not attend 4C Trainings in 2018 must participate in a 4C Training by 31 December 2019 to maintain their status as 4C Auditor. 4C Services highly recommends participation in the training to all users of the 4C system to become familiar with its new approach. The training sessions are not limited to 4C Auditors and managing entities of 4C units, so anyone interested in understanding how 4C Certification works is welcome.
