The first 5 to go flagship store has opened in Brașov, Romania. The new flagship location allows visitors to walk through a short and engaging history of coffee in a miniature coffee museum, creatively reinterpreted in the space of over 100 square metres.
“We have planned this launch in detail and it is an important moment for 5 to go, which underlines our growing aspirations to expand into important areas of the country and target new markets with potential,” says Radu Savopol, Co-founder of 5 to go.
“Brașov is an important city for us, we like the energy of the residents and tourists eager for new things and the vibe of this place which will surely contribute to the increase of brand awareness. This flagship store reflects the trends of market evolution, corresponds to the highest current standards and will become a landmark for anyone who crosses its threshold.”
In 2022, 35 new cities entered the 5 to go map. The launch of a flagship store comes to strengthen this trend and bring the brand closer to consumers in the country, and tourists from around the world.
With an average of 13 locations open monthly, the 5 to go coffee chain currently has approximately 500 locations, of which 420 are under the classic concept. Sixty-four coffee shops were inaugurated in the first half of 2023, a pace that supports reaching the proposed target of opening 150 new cafés in 2023.
While the established locations are characterised by relatively small sizes, minimalist design, simplicity and functionality, the new café concept is an innovative and modern one.
