Aerosmith drummer to compliment coffee brand with rockin’ café

Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer will open Rockin’ & Roastin’ flagship café in Massachusetts, Unites States in early 2015. The founder of the Rockin’ & Roastin’ coffee brand and his business partners, Ron Mann and Frank Cimler, will team up with Kramer’s longtime friend, auto-dealership magnate Ernie Boch, Jr., in this flagship venture.

The group said that the 1500-square-foot-café will be a coffeehouse with a “rock-star edge.” Kramer’s Rockin’ & Roastin’ dragon logo will be reproduced into a bold sign with illuminated eyes. Kramer will display his full drum kit from the recent “Let Rock Rule!” world tour, back lit in a glass jewel case visible from the roadways. The café ceiling will be lined with rock-and-roll images and memorabilia and rock-and-roll music videos and concerts will play on screens in the background.

“I’ve always wanted to start my own business and I’m humbled by how far Rockin’ & Roastin’ has come in the past couple of years,” said Joey Kramer, Founder & Chairman of Rockin’ & Roastin, “Opening up our flagship café is another way that I can continue to entertain fans in new and unique ways.”

Kramer joins a plethora of celebrities who have launched their own coffee brands, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Hugh Jackman, David Lynch, Ralph Lauren and Martha Stewart. Global Coffee Report magazine recently investigated the trend, speaking with Kramer and to Rohan Marley about thier ventures into the world of coffee. Read it here.
