Brazil’s National Institute for Industrial Property (INPI) has awarded the Indication of Origin to coffees grown in the Alto Mogiana region of Sao Paolo province. With a tradition of coffee production stretching back 150 years, Alta Mogiana coffees are renowned for their quality. The region produces only Arabica coffees, primarily of the Catuai and Mundo Novo varieties.
