Amsterdam’s inaugural Coffee Festival is taking place from 2 – 3 May at the NDSM Shipyard. The program features a dedicated industry day on 2 May, offering coffee trade professionals the opportunity to network and learn about the latest product innovations. The festival ‘Lab’ will host live interactive demonstrations, workshops, talks, theatre presentations and debates. Speakers will discuss and debate coffee's most critical ethical issues, explore the history of coffee, and offer tips for setting up a coffee shop. The festival is expected to attract thousands of visitors to experience the live music, street food markets and pop-up espresso bar. The Amsterdam Coffee Festival will also feature the Dutch Barista Championship, the Dutch Latte Art Championship and the Dutch Brewers Cup competition.
