Astoria will celebrate the first birthday of its Astoria Storm with a party at TriestEspresso from 25 to 27 October. The party will take place at Hops Beerstrò on via Cavana 15/A. It will be open to employees, friends, customers, and TriestEspresso visitors who stop by the Astoria stand and pick up a ticket-pass on the first day of the event. Astoria Storm was also unveiled at TriesteEspresso one year ago, with promotional videos and photos displayed in the Porto Vecchio area. Astoria says the location was not coincidental, as the Astoria Storm and Trieste have much in common. Astoria says for more than two centuries, Trieste has been a natural trade crossroads between the East and the West that boasts a rich heritage in connection with coffee. The hydrodynamic plant located in the port area, used steam to power cranes, hoists and elevators. Astoria says the element of steam is also key to the Storm, which favours a smoother and softer milk foam, designed for latte art. TriestEspresso Expo is a biennial trade fair devoted to espresso, held in Trieste, Italy. Astoria has coined the hashtag #HappyBirthdayStorm to promote the event.
