Astoria will take part in Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, an international event dedicated to fair-trade food that will be held in Turin, Italy, from 20 – 24 September. Astoria will bring the Storm FRC, a new version of the Barista Attitude model, to the event.
The Storm FRC is fitted with individual inputs for each group, which can then be combined with specific filters. This allows the barista to customise the type of water for each group, altering the organoleptic characteristics of water and coffee. The Astoria Storm aids the barista to set the delivery temperature of each group with maximum flexibility, to extract different types of coffee and define precise sensory profiles. The machines will be installed at different locations of the event, including the Slow Food Movement coffee parlour and the Pollenzo University of Gastronomic Sciences stand. Astoria will also showcase the smaller Greta coffee makers, suitable for both professional and semi-professional use, in the B2B area, press room, lounge areas, Hall 2 and Oval.
