Returning in March 2026, the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) is being billed as the Southern Hemisphere’s most trusted and influential coffee-dedicated event, bringing together the full breadth of the global coffee supply chain.

Renowned for its high-value B2B environment and long-established audience of café owners, roasters, green-bean traders, equipment suppliers, and distributors, organisers say MICE continues to set the benchmark for industry connection, education, product discovery, and sector-wide innovation.

The expo’s recognition as the “premier business event” for the coffee industry is no secret, but its rapidly growing consumer-facing presence has become a standout feature of recent iterations.

Major household brands, such as global leader and platinum sponsor Breville, and other home-coffee innovators return to the show floor in 2026, offering hands-on experiences for both industry professionals and passionate home baristas.

Education remains central to the MICE experience, with the 2026 program set to deliver its strongest speaker lineup yet, organisers say.

Across keynote sessions, panel discussions, and practical workshops, the MICE Education Series provides attendees with actionable insights into sustainability, roasting innovation, hospitality leadership, green-bean sourcing, and the future of specialty coffee.

Attendees will hear from some of the most influential voices shaping today’s coffee landscape, including: Abdullah Ramay, CEO of Pablo and Rusty’s Coffee Roasters; Amelia Hicks, Director and Co-Founder of Old Quarter Coffee Roasters; James Hennerbry, CEO of Rosslyn Coffee; Abigail Forsyth, Co-Founder of KeepCup; Kelly Kornacki, Manager of Emerging Industries, AgriFutures Australia; and more.

Organisers say the 2026 lineup underscores the calibre of leaders who choose MICE as the platform to share their expertise, demonstrating the growing influence of the event as a hub for industry knowledge.

Attendees can expect forward-thinking perspectives, real-world experience, and ideas that challenge, inspire, and elevate the coffee businesses of today and tomorrow.

“Year after year, MICE brings together the people who drive the global coffee industry forward,” says Siobhan Rocks, General Manager – Events at Prime Creative Media.

“Our reputation as the trusted place where business gets done continues to grow, and in 2026 we’re elevating every aspect of the show, from exhibitors to education to consumer engagement.”

With exhibitor spaces already in high demand, and thousands of attendees planning their visits from across Australia and around the world, MICE 2026 is shaping up to be one of the event’s biggest editions yet.

Tickets for MICE are now available, giving coffee professionals and enthusiasts the opportunity to experience the industry’s leading event. Secure your pass early to access world-class exhibitors, cutting-edge products, and a program of expert-led education sessions.

Industry professionals, café owners, baristas, and coffee enthusiasts are encouraged to secure their passes early to avoid the queues at the event.
