Swiss company Bühler has launched the InfinityRoast coffee roaster at Interpack 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany. According to Bühler, the InfinityRoast allows customers to precisely control the roasting process. The Infinity Profile Control regulates the energy input into the roasting chamber to encourage consistent heat transfer. This process control system is suitable for traditional as well as non-traditional roasting profiles. Operators can adjust the time-temperature pathway and the air-to-bean ratio in order to master aroma formation and the microstructure changes in the bean. The InfinityRoast was designed with safety, reliability, energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact in mind. Bühler’s Interpak exhibition space of more than 1200 square metres, also featured the latest innovations in cocoa, chocolate mass, chocolate moulding, nuts, coffee, grain milling, breakfast cereals and sorting.
