Café Show Beijing kicks off in the Chinese capital on 6 July, filling the China International Exhibition Centre with the buzz of the nation’s emerging coffee industry for four days. Cafe Show Beijing is a pioneer in the Chinese market, which has the potential to be the largest coffee consumer in the world. The show plays an active role in initiating Chinese café cultures and trends. As the sister show of the Seoul Café Show, Café Show China aims to become the largest coffee networking platform in Asia. It also plays important role as a mediator linking coffee-related industries and cultures of Korea and China. With accessibility earned from Cafe Show's business platform, exhibitors access Chinese market with quality manufacturing technologies. Cafe Show Beijing will provide Korean and worldwide exhibitors with not only the venue to promote their products, but also opportunities to seek local distribution and expansion partners. This year, the show has expanded to 615 booths, with 308 exhibitors from 22 countries. The participating countries include Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia pavilions and Taiwan, Singapore, Italy, and Vietnam. Last year, approximately 61,000 people visited the show. It is estimated that Cafe Show Beijing 2017 will have 10,000 more visitors, as it has gained attention from global buyers as the largest coffee business show initiating coffee industry trends in China. This year, at Asia Coffee Avengers, there will be a talk show where world famous baristas will participate in signature coffee challenge, favourite baristas share hidden coffee stories and they all communicate through Q&A time. The baristas invited this year are: Caleb Cha (2015 World Latte Art Champion), Tran Que Han (2017 Vietnam Barista Champion from Cafe Show Vietnam this year), Terence Tan (2017 Singapore Barista Champion) and Liqi (runner-up at the 2016 World Latte Art Championship). They will showcase different programs connecting with visitors. Also, Coffee Talk will be full of simple and trendy coffee, tea, and ice cream information and knowledge inviting people in the industry to share their information and know-how.
