The Melitta Cafina XT8 brews up to 250 cups per hour, boasts a 10.4-inch touchscreen display and thus takes a leading position in the new generation of fully automatic coffee machines launched by Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions. The new machine is an unmistakable member of the XT family: aluminium housing (anodised and shot peened), ergonomically angled command center, and narrow light strips on the height-adjustable, die-cast zinc outlet. Although the extra hot water performance (40 litres/hour) required a larger boiler, the XT8’s footprint is only marginally larger: just five extra centimetres in width and height compared to its four sisters (35 centimetres width).
