John Fuller has been announced as Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s (CBTL) new President and CEO. The leadership change comes just weeks after CBTL announced it has signed an agreement with South Korean retail business, E-Land, to open more than 700 stores in China. “Being appointed to lead The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf into a new era of growth and innovation is something I take great pride in,” said Fuller, in a statement. “I'll be working closely with the management team to increase our existing sales and stores base.” Fuller comes to CBTL from a five-year stint in top position at The Johnny Rockets Group. During his five-year tenure as President and CEO, Fuller directed operations for the multi-million dollar global restaurant chain, which spans 28 countries with 338 locations.
