Victoria Arduino has announced its next Champions’ Hub will take place in Jakarta from 4 to 6 March 2019. Champions’ Hub is a two-day course open to baristas who want to work with national barista champions to learn new methods and information, and train with competition equipment. “When preparing for the World Barista Championship, you may just rely on people you already know. But Champions’ Hub gives you the chance to taste other coffees besides yours, and to be judged on different aspects by people who have already competed,” 2017 World Barista Champion Dale Harris says. “This feedback will help the participants develop their vision and define their choices in coffee preparation in the best way possible, in order to improve their performance during the competition”. Victoria Arduino says the aim of Champions’ Hub is to make training more accessible. Application close for the course close 4 February.
