Coffee Masters – London opens entries

Entries are open to the Coffee Masters – London competition, to be held at the London Coffee Festival from 28 to 31 March, 2019. Coffee Masters is a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary global barista tournament, which takes place annually at coffee festivals around the world. During the competition, baristas undertake challenges that emulate the busy working environment of a professional barista. The different category rounds include cupping, brewing, latte art, the order challenge, the signature drink, the espresso blend and the origin. These disciplines are designed to test a barista's skill, knowledge, creativity, professionalism and presentation in a head-to-head, fast-paced battle. Twenty world-class baristas will go head-to-head fighting for the coveted Coffee Masters title and grand prize of £5000 (US$6600). Entrants must submit a one-to-two-minute video of themselves crafting a coffee-based signature drink inspired by London. Entries close 15 February. For more information, click here.
