The book features the discoveries experienced first-hand by the photographer in the coffee‑producing state of Chiapas. The route taken passes through the regions of Altos, Selva, Fronteriza, Frailesca, Sierra and Soconusco, each of which embraces a specific biodiversity both in the history of its peoples – for the most part Indigenous – and the territory, its nature and its agriculture. From these lands come washed Arabicas of exceptional aromatic merit, many of which have been granted biological, Fairtrade, or geographical traceability certificates.
