Following a successful London-based trial, British chain Costa Coffee has extended its mobile ordering service to more than 500 participating stores. Since launching the service in December 2018 to 111 stores, Costa Coffee has expanded the service to 400 additional locations across England. From Newquay to Newcastle, Costa Coffee says the expansion enables coffee lovers to beat the queues at the touch of a button. “We have seen such an incredible response for our mobile ordering service since its launch in London last year, with coffee lovers embracing the simple and easy Costa App to enhance their Costa Coffee experience,” says Arslan Sharif, Global Digital and Loyalty Director at Costa Coffee. “The development of mobile ordering and other digital innovations have enabled us to expand this service to more than 500 stores nationwide. The customer experience is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re delighted to introduce a service that makes it really convenient for everyone to access [Costa’s] coffee when on the go.” The mobile ordering service is available through the free Costa Coffee Club app. The chain says with the majority of orders made from 7am to 9am Monday to Friday, the service will speed up service at its venues.
