Roasting software company Cropster has published a fully revised second edition of the book Specialty Coffee – Managing Quality, edited by Dr. Thomas Oberthür and colleagues.
Specialty Coffee – Managing Quality covers most of the value chain, bringing together a large number of eminent authors from across the globe.
Cropster says the book will appeal to anyone with an interest in understanding the vast range of factors that affect coffee quality, from breeding and plant genetics to production, processing, and grower buyer relations, and business models to preparation of the cup.
The second edition has been updated and complemented with new chapters. New information relates to aspects of climate change, advances in breeding, processing innovations, digital farming, and new origins.
The Cropster design team built a new cover for the fantastic content for the revised book, fitted in a sturdy hard cover that’s sold at a lower price than the first edition.
