DTS8 Coffee Company will relocate its corporate head office from Shanghai, China to Vancouver, Canada, with plans to be fully operational at the start of August. DTS8 Coffee said the relocation would strengthen its proposition by hedging the country risk associated with doing business exclusively in China. “This relocation is focused on implementing necessary measures with a view towards improving our operations in China, increasing revenues for the benefit of our shareholders, and to minimise the negative perceptions associated with being a solely China based company,” said Alex Liang, Chairman of DTS8. Liang said DTS8 plans to expand its footprint in the North American gourmet coffee market and that the move would put them in a good positioned for future growth in both China and North America. DTS8 Coffee Company’s will maintain its sales office in Shanghai and its roasting facility in Huzhou.
