The Australian International Coffee Awards (AICA) is now accepting entries for the 2014 competition. Back for its second year, the AICA is searching for the best Australian and international roaster. The AICA is a partner event of the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) 2014, taking place from 15 – 18 May at the Melbourne Showgrounds. In 2013, the awards attracted over 600 entries from around the world, issuing 174 medals in total. The 2014 awards are looking to bulid on the worldwide momentum of premium coffee, with five trophies on offer. Tropies include Champion Roaster Trophies, for both the top Australian and International Roaster, and Best in Call Trophies for Champion Espresso, Champion Milk Based and Champion Filter Coffee.
