Nominations for the European Coffee Awards 2018 will close 31 August. The awards, in association with Lavazza, celebrate and recognise industry excellence within the coffee and food-to-go sector. Winners will be announced at the European Coffee Awards and Black-Tie Gala Dinner on 29 November 2018 at Melia, Milano. The ceremony is part of the European Coffee Symposium, taking place from 28 to 30 November. The early bird rates for Allegra's Supply and Innovation Day program, taking place on the same day, will also end in less than a month. Industry suppliers from across Europe will showcase their products to a Pan-European audience of buyers and purchasing managers from some of the industry's largest foodservice operators. Following the symposium, the Milan Coffee Festival will be held from 30 November to 2 December, celebrating Italy’s traditional and new wave specialty coffee scene.
