The European Coffee Expo, a new trade-only show dedicated to the business of coffee, tea, soft drinks and related products, opened its doors from 22 to 23 May at London’s Olympia. The inaugural event attracted more than 3000 visitors from a broad range of hospitality sectors, including corporate caterers to artisan coffee shops, and everyone in between. “In just six months we have delivered an incredibly successful, professional business event,” said Annie Swift, Managing Director, European Coffee Expo. David Abrahamovitch, CEO and Founder of Grind; and Laura Harper-Hinton, Co Founder and Creative Director of Caravan Restaurants and Caravan Coffee Roasters, were just two of dozens of leading industry figures who wowed the audience in the WMF and Schaerer-sponsored conference theatre with exclusive insights into their journeys to running successful businesses. The Tea Workshop Theatre and Innovation Path and Awards also proved to be popular with attendees, which highlighted the best products and solutions on display at the show. Quinic Events is the company behind the launch of the new European trade show, which has successfully hosted other trade expos including the Retail Business Technology Expo, Retail Design Expo, Retail Digital Signage Expo, The Restaurant Show, The Hospitality Technology Show, The Magazine Publishing Expo, Restaurant & Bar Hong Kong, and Bathrooms and Kitchens Expo. Strong foundations are now in place for the 2019 show, which will take place from 21 to 22 May, 2019. For more information, visit www.europeancoffeeexpo.com
