Allegra Events Ltd. announced on 13 September the speaker line-up for the European Coffee Symposium 2012, set to take place on 22 November at The Passenger Terminal, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Some of the most knowledgeable leaders and entrepreneurs from across the industry will come together to share their success stories and insight into the forces shaping the marketplace, Allegra Strategies said in a statement. This year, the symposium will explore key topics such as: current market economics, the role of artisan coffee and impact on big brands, engaging new audiences, building ‘disciple’ loyalty as well as design and environments that inspire. Speakers and panellists include: Liz Muller, Director of Global Concept Design, Starbucks; Jasper Uhlenbusch, Head of Brand Development, CoffeeCompany; Guido Bernardinelli, Managing Director, La Marzocco; Matthijs De Jongh, Partner and Head of Strategy, KesselsKramer; Stefan Tewes, CEO, Coffee Fellows; Tom Clark, Owner, Coutume Café; Matts Johansson, CEO, DaMatteo; Paul Brinemann, CEO, La Place and Jeffrey Young, MD, Allegra Strategies. More will be announced in the coming weeks. The program is designed to provide key decision makers with ready-to-implement market insight, innovative ideas and enhanced networking opportunities. The thought-provoking European Coffee Symposium conference is part of a two-day event that combines a tailored Supply & Innovation Day, a Study Tour of Amsterdam’s latest coffee and food concepts and the prestigious European Coffee Awards and gala dinner.
