Flexicon Corporation has accelerated its expansion in Southeast Asia with the opening of a new facility in Singapore. “Flexicon bulk handling equipment has been purchased throughout Southeast Asia since 1975, with exponential growth over the last several years,” said Flexicon Corporation President, David Gill, in a statement. “We have committed to accelerating this growth with the opening of our Singapore office and hiring of a dedicated staff with full access to Flexicon's corporate resources.” Applications Engineer, Jhuning Chng has been training at Flexicon in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania for the past year. Chng will run the Singapore office. Chng will be responsible for building relationships with plant managers, engineers and other decision-makers at Southeast Asian facilities that handle bulk solid materials across the food, pharmaceutical, packaging and general chemical industries. The Singapore office will have direct access to details on more than 15,000 installations of Flexicon bulk handling equipment and full access to Flexicon’s worldwide engineering resources.
