The 2018 World Barista Champion, Agnieszka Rojewska, has joined Italian coffee machine manufacturer Carimali as its Head of Coffee Education and Culture. “Coffee Knowledge is a strategic pillar for Carimali, paramount to the achievement of objectives set in terms of applied research,” Carimali CEO Cosimo Libardo says. “As an integral part of this strategy, Carimali has chosen to formalise this role, in addition to the creation of an Extraction and Sensory Analysis Lab – with related courses aiming to holistically build knowledge around these areas. “We are confident Agnieszka, thanks to her experience and proven leadership, will contribute greatly to our research and innovation program in developing new extraction technologies.” Rojewska is also a three-time Polish Barista Champion and four-time Polish Latte Art Champion with a career high ranking of third in the world in 2017. She recently placed third in the 2019 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.
