Global Coffee Review's publishers Prime Creative Media announced on 19 December that the magazine has been released as an Apple iPad app. The app will be available to download for free for a limited time. The print magazine comes to life in digital form as an app, with special features such as the ability to share pages on email, Facebook and Twitter, bookmark features to read later, and a searchable index page. “With modern trends of sustainability, we felt that releasing Global Coffee Review as an iPad app was one of the best ways to ensure this vital industry resource could be shared all over the world,” says Prime Creative Media Managing Director John Murphy. “The app will be available for free for a limited time to help spread that information.” The app currently offers the November/December 2012 edition of Global Coffee Review, and early next year the January/February 2013 edition will also be made available for free download. The app can be downloaded at http://itunes.apple.com/app/id584714407
