Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc.’s Barista Prima Vanilla Latte has been named the 2013 New Product of the Year by the Automatic Merchandiser magazine. Exclusive to the Keurig Vue system, Barista Prima Vanilla Latte combines premium dark-roasted coffee with real milk, real cream, and a hint of vanilla. The two-step Café Beverage products combine a separate dairy frother with roasted coffee packs to create a high quality beverage while maintaining the convenience of Keurig single cup brewing. The system incorporates interactive RFID (radio frequency identification) technology which enables the brewer to default to optimum settings for the chosen beverage based on the RFID tag on the Vue pack.
