The Hemro Group has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with HeyCafé in China to strengthen its foothold in Asia. The Chinese coffee grinder manufacturer will now join Mahlkönig, Ditting and Anfim, under the Hemro brand. “Looking back on 10 years of our sales representation in Asia, the time has now come to take the next step and to get even closer to the emerging markets and to our customers,” said Philipp Baumberger, CEO of the Hemro Group. “With our strategic partnership we support entrepreneurship and the spirit of innovation of Chinese companies like HeyCafé and we contribute to their continuing growth.” The Hemro Group and HeyCafé will focus on manufacturing appliances for the emerging markets in Asia. “Fresh beans, a perfect grind and a unique taste experience have become more and more popular to coffee lovers in Asia,” said Baumberger. “We experience a vital demand for quality equipment within the entire price range.” Founder and CEO of HeyCafé Iian Maimon will stay on as general manager. “We are proud to become a member of the Hemro Group,” said Maimon. ““We share the same vision and we strive to turn the factory in Changzhou into one of the best factories for grinding solutions outside of Europe.”
