HeyCafé becomes full member of Hemro Group

In November, Chinese grinder manufacturer HeyCafé became a full member of the Hemro Group. The two companies have been involved in a strategic partnership since 2016 to strengthen their footholds in the Asian market. The companies also announced that HeyCafé Founder Ilan Maimon will now assume the position of Managing Director Innovation and Technology at Hemro. “Coffee is our passion. Grinding is our purpose,” Maimon says. “The enjoyment of a good cup of coffee unites us with everyone working in the coffee business. Our job is to provide smart grinding solutions that fit perfectly into the workflows at coffee bars while providing grinding qualities that contribute to a great taste experience.”

Building on decades of experience in engineering and production, Hemro says Maimon has immersed himself in crucial processes of Hemro’s global innovation and technology hubs. The new position will allow him to further contribute to the group’s success story.

“Our skilled and experienced engineers make use of the most recent insights and tools to design Hemro grinders according to the customers’ needs. They keep their focus on what is truly necessary,” Maimon says. The Hemro Group was formed in 1999, when Mahlkönig teamed up with Swiss rival Ditting to perfect and market its grind-on-demand technology. The group acquired Italian grinder manufacturer Anfim in 2013. For more information, visit www.hemrogroup.com
