There will be 10 new flags flying at Host 2013, which is being held at fieramilano, Rho from 18 – 22 October. The new exhibitors will represent some of the world’s most important emerging economies – Bahrain, Brazil, Egypt, Japan, Israel, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Venezuela and Vietnam – while bringing the total number of countries present to 50. Also on the upward trend is the contingent of foreign exhibitors, which already represent 39 per cent of the total, without neglecting the traditionally strong markets including peaks of 169 per cent growth in the United States, 80 per cent in France, 61 per cent in Germany, and 30 per cent in Turkey. The exhibition layout at Host 2013 occupies 12 halls and will be grouped into 3 macro-areas: Professional Catering with Bread-Pasta-Pizza; Bar and Coffee Machines with Coffee-Tea and Ice Cream and Pastry; and Furnishings and Décor. Special attention on the newcomer Tea, in combination with coffee, to meet the international trends in the industry, in addition to the workshop Setting the Table, which will turn attention to design and how planning and design complete with new formats. Host 2013 delivers a comprehensive and extensive calendar of events, organised in conjunction with the most authoritative industry associations and consulting firms in the segment. Events range from informational workshops and training to tempting cooking demonstrations and tastings, along with exciting challenges between great masters in their respective specialties, some of whom are literally featured in the Guinness Book of Records.
