Hotelex to host China Barista Championships

The Chinese Barista Championships will be held at Hotelex in Shangha from 31 March – 3 April. The winner of the 12th Barista Championship will have the opportunity to compete at the World Barista Championships, Rimini, Italy. The Chinese Latte Art Championship will also be running as part of the four-day fine food festival. A range of espresso machines will be on display to visitors, including Wega-branded machines. Focusing on energy saving technology, the electronic Wegaconcept will make up part of the exhibition. The Wegaconcept uses separate boilers for each brewing system and includes a system that memorises consumption. The Wegaconcept machine at Hotelex will be the three group version with a white finish.
