The International Coffee Organization (ICO) has called for applications to fill the role of its Executive Director. The move comes after the shock death of the organisation’s previous leader, Roberio Silva, who died on 30 December, 2016, aged just 53. The ICO has called on member governments to put forward the names and details of their endorsed candidates by 23 February. Applicants for the role should have deep knowledge of the coffee sector and relevant wide experience, as well as very strong management skills.
The initial contract for the role is for a five-year period. For more information, visit ico.org.
