illycaffè‘s Università del Caffè, a global centre of excellence established to promote the culture of quality coffee around the world, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Founded in 1999 in Trieste, Italy, Università del Caffè was established to educate coffee growers, hospitality professionals, and enthusiasts.

Università del Caffè has trained over 350,000 coffee producers, baristas, restaurateurs, and coffee lovers since its inception. The institution works to enhance the coffee supply chain, from cultivation to the final cup. A faculty of 50 instructors certified by ACS Italia deliver its educational programs.
The Università now has branches across several continents and offers various courses tailored to local needs while working to maintain the organisation’s goal of achieving global excellence.
Family-owned Italian coffee company illycaffè was established in Trieste in 1933. Every day, more than 8 million cups of illycaffè coffee are served in more than 140 countries.
