Innovators honoured on day one of World of Coffee

The World of Coffee New Product of the Show Awards are the definitive guide to the hottest new products and services at World of Coffee and shine a spotlight on the most exciting new innovations to enter the market over the last 12 months. Owned and organised by the Speciality Association of Europe (SCAE), World of Coffee has been running for 15 years and it has grown from a conference in a hotel room to celebrating its 16th year in Dublin’s RDS Simmonscourt, where it expects to receive over 10,000 visitors over the duration of the event – the Dublin event is expected to be the biggest ever World of Coffee. “Europe’s number one coffee week, World of Coffee, has arrived in Dublin. This will be our biggest event ever, with plenty to inspire, entertain and enthrall, from the World Barista Championship and World Brewers Cup, to Re:co Symposium, our new Sustainability Forum, seminars, awards, parties and a huge exhibition featuring over 250 of the world’s most innovative coffee industry suppliers,” said Executive Director of the SCAE, David Veal. As well as the New Product of the Show Awards, the World of Coffee will proudly host the World Barista Championships and the World Brewers Cup for the very first time with over 60 entrants. The event, which runs from 23-25 June, will also play host to seminars, cuppings, the first ever Sustainability Forum, and of course more than 200 of the coffee industry’s top suppliers and service providers who will be demonstrating thousands of coffee solutions under one roof.
