Registration is now open for the sixth edition of the International Coffee Tasting 2014 awards, to be held in Brescia, Italy on 21 – 22 October. Coffee roasters from around the world can submit an application before 19 September, to receive a sensory profile and a ranking of their coffee from the International Institute of Coffee Tasters (IICT). The IICT, a scientific and independent association that concentrates exclusively on the sensory analysis of coffee, will be tasting coffees of all different styles, including whole bean, espresso capsules, pods and filter coffee. The highest-ranking coffees will be entitled to use the competition’s official logo on the winning products. Wega and Compak Coffee Grinders are sponsoring the International Coffee Tasting 2014.
