Koelnmesse has announced the appointment of Hans Stoter as General Manager. Stoter will be responsible for all of Koelnmesse's trade fairs, conventions and conferences in China. Stoter’s prior role in China was no doubt attractive to the international trade fair organiser, which is seeking to expand its market share in the East Asian nation. “ Hans’s considerable experience in event management and business development is vital in helping us identify new market opportunities and industry challenges ahead,” said Michael Dreyer, Vice President, Asia Pacific, Koelnmesse. “I have tremendous confidence in Hans’s ability to grow the company’s presence and profile in China.” Prior to joining Koelnmesse in Beijing, Stoter held the position of Interim General Manager at the i2i Events Group in Shanghai, China. Stoter has 15 years of experience in the exhibition industry, during which he has worked for large organisations in both China and Europe.
