La Marzocco has participated for the second year in a row at True Coffee Experience, held at Matadero Madrid, from 17-19 March. The Italian espresso machine manucfacturer supplied the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe’s National Championships (Barista, Latte art, Cup tasters and Brewers Cup) with professional-grade commercial machines and will set up the signature True Artisan Café at stand #C10. Elisabet Sereno, Director of La Marzocco Spain, was one of the sensory judges for the competitions. Specialty coffee blends were served through the Strada EP, Linea PB and Linea Mini from several Spanish roasters – Randall, Tusell, Rocket Bean, Café de Finca, Toma Café, Nomad, Right Side, who will be taking turns behind the bar. Following the previous True Coffee Experience in 2015, where La Marzocco kicked-off with its signature Foosball Competition, the team this year launched the first ever Darts Competition at the venue’s Relax Area exhibit space as well as throwing a raffle game and serving beer through the GS3 espresso machine. The winner of the La Marzocco Darts Competition won a trip to Origin.
