Italian espresso machine manufacturer La Marzocco has continued its international expansion, opening a new branch office and showroom in Auckland, New Zealand on 16 October. The new branch will be overseen by Operations Manager Tom Handiside on the ground, and Tom Beaumont, General Manager of La Marzocco Australasia, who is based in Melbourne, Australia. “Representing La Marzocco’s company culture, this new location will be providing education, training and events for the coffee community, giving an on-going opportunity for roasters to serve their coffee, share their industry experience with the public and generate ideas on how to gear quality-coffee businesses towards higher and more sustainable standards,” the company said in a statement. The new showroom is situated at 36 Parnell Road. La Marzocco’s main headquarters is in Florence, Italy. The Auckland branch adds to a long list of satellite locations including Barcelona, London, Melbourne, Milan, Seattle and Seoul. The company has over 140 employees and exports to over 80 countries around the world.
