The London Coffee Festival, to be held in The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane from 12-15 April is offering more than just tastings, demonstrations and creative cocktails this year, with a complete new floor and many new events added. The new floor of coffee experiences will include a newly designed VIP suite by La Marzocco, and samplings in The Tasting Room. The Lab, relocated and three times bigger than before, will be a dynamic place to learn, debate and experience. The UK barista championships will also take place in this exciting space, allowing visitors to see coffee created in competition at its highest level. The debut La Cimbali Sensory Bar will serve a selection of three exceptional coffees, all sourced specifically for the festival, served three different ways. Next door will be the La Cimbali Benchmark Bar, where the crown champions from the Coffee Mixologists competition will pour their finest serves. The Baileys Espresso Martini Bar is returning, along with a twist: the Flat White Martini. The House of Coffee will also open for the first time, focusing on the coffee journey from bean to cup. Here visitors can discover raw green coffee beans, and learn as they are roasted and brewed using different techniques. It will be the perfect first-stop for anyone new to coffee, where they can see, smell and taste their way through a holistic offee experience.
