Mahlkönig appoints former Canadian Barista Champion as brand ambassador

Multiple-time Canadian Barista Champion Ben Put becomes has become the new Brand Ambassador for Mahlkönig.

The grinder manufacturer says Put brings 16 years of experience within the international coffee industry to the team. Under the Monogram Coffee brand, he and his two partners run a roast house and two coffee shops in Calgary, Alberta. Put dedicates his time to quality management as well as the intensive trainings of his baristas. Mahlkönig attributes extensive scientific coffee analysis, intuition, and experience to Put’s consistently high quality.

Regarding grinding, Put says he only trusts Mahlkönig, from its support through numerous national and international barista competitions to the coffee served at Monogram Coffee. Put will accompany Mahlkönig’s product management, join the innovation team, and be engaged in grinder development. Mahlkönig says his experience and analytical skills will have a sustainable impact on the concepts and designs of its new grinding solutions.

Furthermore, Put will accompany Mahlkönig at international coffee industry events, including Host Milan in October 2019. He recently helped showcase the Mahlkönig E65S during the Specialty Coffee Expo in Boston, where the espresso grinder was launched in the United States market.
