Mahlkoenig Peak gets a new feel

Mahlkoenig’s revolutionary Peak grinder has just got even more distinctive with the release of an updated model featuring a matte surface. A statement from the German manufacturer says that the new look has come about based on feedback from the industry. “Following our insights from our close collaborations with top professional baristas from the international coffee industry, we proudly present the new matt-structured surface coating for the PEAK. Thanks to our committed suppliers the surface will have a perfect uniform look on all the different materials of which the PEAK’s corpus is made of,” the statement says. “Unique grinding technology, innovative design elements and the easy to use functionality of our premium espresso grinder get enhanced by the perfect first-class surface. The matt-structured surface coating replaces the previous versions in either smooth matt black or smooth matt white as of today and without any surcharge.”
