Organisers of Malaysia Int’l Café Show have deemed the show a success, with more than 3000 visitors attending the event on the first day. Kaizer Exhibitions and Conferences Sdn Bhd (KECSB) and Co-Organiser Exporum hosted the trade show which was held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), in Kuala Lumpur, from 23 – 26 April. Minister in the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Department, Y.B. Datuk Ir. Dr. Wee Ka Siong, attended the official launch of the show, along with Managing Director of KESB Belle Yam. Exhibitors from eight different countries occupied 82 booths of the PWTC exhibition hall. Organisers say the major highlights of the event were the Asia Coffee Stars, Coffee Talk, Pastry Demonstration and Live Coffee Caricatures Painting. “These events were aimed to enhance the visitors’ knowledge in coffee culture,” said organisers. “The visitors were also given a chance to taste the world best coffee made by Asia Star Baristas.” Malaysia Int’l Café Show brought together café owners and managers, food and beverage exporters and importers, as well as distributors and suppliers of café related machinery and equipment. “Malaysia Int’l Cafe Show 2015 served as a key platform for international buyers and key decision maker to source their buying needs and explore new collaboration opportunities,” said organisers. Organisers have announced that Malaysia Int’l Cafe Show 2016 will take place in the same venue, from 28 April – 1 May 2016.
