Modern Process Equipment Corporation (MPE) is offering on-site conveyor testing with its Chain-Vey conveyer. The testing will take place at MPE’s facility in Jakarta, Indonesia. According to MPE, the Chain-Vey conveyor is specifically designed for the transport of whole bean or ground coffee with less than .5 per cent bean breakage and no product segregation.
The Chain-Vey tubular drag conveyor moves products horizontally and vertically with a sealed tube for aroma containment. According to the MPE, the facility is fully equipped to determine a product’s conveying needs. As well as transferring coffee, the conveyer can be used for food powders, material chips, activated carbon and more. Materials for testing can be shipped to MPE’s facility in Jakarta.
