The Cimbali Group’s Mumac Academy has announced the launch of WebArena, an Instagram Live initiative bringing speakers and topics of interest to the coffee industry.
At the core of Mumac Academy is a program of training courses, workshops and round table meetings, Cimbali Group says.
From 22 April to 6 May, the live direct events and a full list of events can be followed by connecting to the @mumacacademy Instagram account.
Speakers will vary and range from industry producers like Umeko Motoyoshi, Califia Farms, and Slowpour Supply. Cimbali says “topics of enhancement” will be discussed, and speakers will host Q&As with Mumac and viewers at home.
Cimbali says WebArena is intended to reassure coffee lovers that, even with the temporary closure of the Mumac facility, the academy will continue to serve the coffee community.
Topics and speakers include:
- 22 April – Pitchers & Community: Bridging the Gap with Anita Tam, Founder of Slowpour Supply
- 27 April – Translating competition to home: Brewing Edition with Jesus Iñiguez, Barista at Archetype Coffee and Brewers Cup Competitor
