The Colombian Coffee Growers Federation’s online community connecting coffee lovers with origin will be hosting the third installment of its successful online lecture series on Thursday 26 September at 11am Colombian time. Thursday’s lecture will explore the effects of the fermentation process on coffee quality. Presenting on the topic will be Chemical and Food Engineer at Cenicafe, Gloria Ines Puerta Quintero, Chemical Engineer for Almacafe, Rodrigo Alarcon and Agricultural Engineer from Cenicafe, Carlos Oliveros. Previous lectures in the series have focused on the impact of climate change on coffee production and the effects of temperature, altitude and latitude on coffee quality.
