Nguyen Coffee Supply has announced the launch of its packaged Vietnamese coffee beans at more than 400 Albertsons stores, one of the top five grocery chains in the United States (US).
Albertsons will carry three stock-keeping units (SKUs) of Nguyen Coffee Supply’s coffee beans: Truegrit, 100 per cent Vietnamese Robusta; Loyalty, a blend of Vietnamese Robusta and Arabica; and Moxy, 100 per cent Vietnamese Arabica.
The launch is Nguyen Coffee Supply’s largest retail expansion for its packaged coffee line. Its physical retail presence has multiplied tenfold, now spanning over 2500 locations across the US.
“Vietnamese coffee beans are truly different in flavour and energy,” says Founder and CEO Sahra Ngueyn.
“As a first generation Vietnamese American, it’s been my mission to share the flavours of my parents’ home country while elevating Vietnamese coffee farmers. With partners like Albertsons, we’re thrilled to introduce Vietnamese coffee to more people across America.”
Since 2018, Nguyen Coffee Supply has imported Vietnamese coffee beans through direct-trade relationships, roasting them in Brooklyn, New York. Ngueyn has served as the company’s Head Roaster since its founding, personally developing each roast profile.
The brand aims to bolster the popularity of the Robusta bean, of which Vietnam is the leading producer and accounts for 36 per cent of global production.
Nguyen Coffee Supply products are available at other US retailers, including Target, Sprouts WHole Foods Market, Krogers’, and more. The company also ships directly to customers in all 50 US states, and internationally to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
