Nuova Simonelli has opened entries to the equipment manufacturer’s 2019 Youth Academy coffee skills program.
Simonelli started the Youth Academy in 2018 to help young and promising baristas who love coffee and want to deepen their skills. It sees six European baristas aged 18 to 30 win scholarships to take part in the education and training program, based on the Specialty Coffee Association Coffee Skills Program. “It’s an ambitious project that intends to introduce new, bright minds in this sector, consequently allowing the industry to grow and strengthen more and more every day,” says Lauro Fioretti, Project Manager and Course Lecturer.
