Nuova Simonelli machines to be used in new Ikea cafés in Czech Republic

Ikea has announced that it will fit-out its new Bar Ikea sections in three of its stores in the Czech Republic with Nuova Simonelli’s Aurelia II T3 espresso machine. The T3, which is also the official machine of the World Barista Championships, will be used in the new sections in stores in Prague, Brno and Ostrava. The machines will be supported by Nuova Simonelli’s Mythos grinders. The agreement reached between IKEA Ceca and Nuova Simonelli incorporates the participation of illycaffe as the official supplier of coffee blends. This has started an innovative formula for working together that could be repeated in other countries, Nuova Simonelli said in a statement.
