Italian espresso machine manufacturer, The Simonelli Group, has opened its new commercial headquarters in France. Located in Viviers du Lac, in the small town of Savoy on the southern shore of Lake Bourget, this new facility is the third commercial headquarters outside Italy, and the first in Europe. Nuova Simonelli has two other headquarters, one in the United States and in Singapore. The top technology and innovative coffee machines that Simonelli Group produces in Italy and distributes worldwide, will now be at the fingertips for French baristas and coffee shops. In a press statement the company said for some years France has been one of the European markets most interested in the products of Simonelli Group’s two brands: Nuova Simonelli and Victoria Arduino. The Simonelli Group’s products already have a foothold in France, with machines in Hotel George V, near the Champs Elysées in Paris, and in the Ritz Bar in Place Vendome. Nicolas Poirot-Crouvezier will head the new Viviers du Lac offices, featuring a large showroom and sales area, as well as a technical centre to host training courses for baristas and technicians.
