Nuova Simonelli will be running a course for people wanting to become a certified Q-grader at its factory in Fonte Moret, Italy, from 13 -18 February, 2017. The course will involve sensory tests (tasting, olfactory analysis), alternating with theoretical lessons on every aspect of coffee, from the bean to when it’s served in a cup. Those who pass the course will receive a certificate issued by the Coffee Quality Institute. The course is open only to professionals in the world of coffee, such as baristas, roasters and producers, who already have advanced knowledge in the field.
